Cookie Policy
This Policy describes the use of cookies on andesfundec.com, including the implementation of Google Consent Mode v2 applied on this site since 2024 and updated in 2026 to align with the recommendations of the European Data Protection Board.
1. What is a cookie
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on your device. It allows us to remember preferences, keep your session, measure audience and, with your consent, show relevant advertising. Cookies do not access the contents of your hard drive.
2. Consent Mode v2
We implement Google Consent Mode v2. By default, the signals ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization and analytics_storage are in the denied state. Only when you accept the corresponding categories in the banner do those signals switch to granted, allowing Google Ads and Google Analytics scripts to record information. In the meantime, Google only receives cookieless pings without identifiers for aggregate modeling.
3. Cookie categories
(a) Strictly necessary: session, load balancing and security. (b) Functionality: selected language and consent. (c) Analytics: Google Analytics 4 (anonymised). (d) Advertising: Google Ads (AW-18064110603) to measure conversions and show ads. (e) Personalization: aggregated relevance adjustments for ads.
4. How to manage your preferences
You can open the preferences panel from the bottom banner on your first visit, or from the permanent "Cookie Policy" link in the footer. Each change applies immediately and is stored in localStorage under the key andesfundec_consent_v1.
5. How to delete cookies
You can delete cookies from your browser's settings. If you remove the consent key or reinstall the browser, the banner will reappear so you can choose again.
6. Active cookies list
_ga (Google Analytics, 2 years, analytics), _gid (Google Analytics, 24 hours, analytics), _gcl_au (Google Ads, 90 days, advertising), andesfundec_consent_v1 (consent, 365 days, functional). The list is reviewed every 90 days.
7. No data sale
Andesfundec receives no payment for sharing data with third parties. The data generated by cookies belongs to its respective controllers (Google) and is governed by their own policies. We do not use third-party cookies for cross-site behavioural advertising.
